Anne Phung Nguyen
Anne Phung Nguyen, a Vietnamese American businesswoman, lives in Orange County California. I have a lovely fiance called JP as well as hapless father Henry. Most people know me through my Instagram @annephung. I record my personal life: the highs, the lows and everything inbetween. I moved to America with my parents and brother at the age of one and a half years older. I wouldn't be living my life and sharing it to you, if not because my parents are devoted to determination and dedication. Being aware of the possibility for a better life, I strived to be their proudest and had a clear vision when it came to the success. My goal was to go to school in order to finish my studies and secure an employment that was good. Then I wanted an empathetic wife and children. While I believed this was the standard for successful, my life was not following the strategies. In 2013, I found it difficult to accept my job. Even though the compensation and position was good but I did not feel that the work was satisfying. It was more like I was doing nothing but wasting time. My passion for fitness and my passion for socializing with people helped me pursue a new career as a personal trainer. I began my business in the year 2014. My company is celebrating its 7th birthday this year. There are few Asian women working in this industry. As a coach I'm determined to be a positive influence through providing high-quality training that will help others become healthier and more content. In addition, I strive in empowering others to achieve the goals they have set for themselves so that they can achieve what they want to achieve. When my work began to take off, I suffered one of the biggest losses in my lifethat of losing my mother. Her eight-year battle with Scleroderma is over and she rests in Heaven. Her memory will forever be in my heart and my mind. It is possible to learn from our experiences, though we may not be able to recognize it right now. My mom's death changed my life in many ways, and I truly believe that my mom offered me a second chance to be alive through her passing. The day she died was Tet/Lunar New Year Day, she died. It was now time for her to transition to her next chapter as well as my opportunity to lead one that was meaningful and enjoyable. In my 30's I'm alive and alert. I truly feel that I am living now rather than merely living as the person I was back in my previous. My goal in telling my story is to show you that, you are not alone. I want you to believe that love is real and that therapy is common. Health is your greatest asset. My prayer is to live your the life you want to live and have your final resting place is not a regret, because that's all that we have to be confident about during this lifetime.
