Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is a reviewer who tackles Z-grade film typically in the horror or martial arts genre, which is roughly comparable that of The Cinema Snob but tending towards dumb action flicks and a morbid enjoyment of them. Her first review was in 2009 and, after garnering some recognition in their forums (under the name of her former handle Obscurus Lupa) she became a member of the Channel Awesome family. She was on the website until 2015, when Obscurus Lupa Presents became Movie Nights. Additionally, she hosts two podcasts on her channel both covering the Charmed series and co-hosted with Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. She's also appeared on Brad Jones' show Midnight Screenings, usually reviewing terrible children's films as well as RiffTrax Live Shows as well occasionally adult comedies (such such as Baywatch 2017, 2017). The first time she reviewed movies was in 2009. When she gained acclaim on Channel Awesome forums, she was invited into the Reviewer group. She has made numerous appearances throughout Channel Awesome, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She and Doug Walker were once members of Channel Awesome. They would frequently appear in episodes of Nostalgia Critic.
