Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada has been an Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared on a variety of TV shows. Family members fled from Afghanistan, and was granted asylum in US. Her birthplace was in the US. Her family was raised in Northern Virginia and is the third child of two sisters. Ghanizada started her camera career being featured in several National Commercials. Ghanizada's performance as Chiara in Laura Neri 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose as Chiara was nominated for Best Actress at a film festivals. A few of her TV roles are How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars NUMB3RS The Wedding Bells Psych Castle and Castle. The most recent role she has played is the role of a supporting character on the show Blood Shot, (2009) which is based on the science fiction movie Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada was played by the General Hospital spinoff General Hospital, which was broadcast on prime-time TV. Season 2 of Night Shift featured Ghanizada play Doctor. Saira Bhatra, a doctor who practices holistic medicine. In 2009 Ghanizada appeared as Kelly a Prada sales girl in HBO's Entourage as well as joining the cast of the television series pilot Tough Trade from Weeds creator Jenji Kohan and executive producer T Bone Burnett.
